Fatou’s two-fold experience in and out of the “spotlight” has equipped her with all of the necessary skills to successfully implement fresh digital strategies in just about any space.
As a social media content creator, Fatou has participated in major campaigns and long-term collaborations with beauty and lifestyle brands like Maybelline New York, SoftSheen Carson, La Colombe Coffee, and Her Campus.
She has also held a myriad of communications-based roles for companies and organizations like Edelman, Edelman Smithfield, Comcast, The Juneteenth Foundation, The Conversationalist, and kanti, contributing to their teams in the areas of media relations, project management, digital marketing, full-scale social media management, and content creation.
With experience in industries like finance, health, non-profits, beauty, apparel, and the nonprofit sector, Fatou approaches her work through her 3 C’s, which she believes can come together to help any personal brand, business, or organization achieve digital success.
Fatou is a graduate of Howard University's media, journalism and film communications program with a minor in Afro-American studies.
